About the place
A small sea temple on a rock right by the beach, which gave the beach its name (the stone with a hole). On ceremony days processions come from the village and for a few hours the beach is a place of offerings rather than surfing.
It is a reminder that Canggu remains a Balinese village with adat and banjar: building next to the temple is limited by sanctity rules, and a first-line buyer should check whether the plot falls inside the protected radius.
