What is planned
Radisson Hotel Group has signed its first Indonesian project under the upscale Radisson Collection brand. Atiara Ubud Bali, A Radisson Collection Resort is scheduled to open in 2027.
The resort will have 52 rooms. They include six wellness suites with outdoor terraces, private yoga decks and Jacuzzis. A 530-square-metre presidential suite will come with terraces and its own pool.
A wellness focus
The resort targets travellers who put health and recovery at the centre of their trip. It sits about 90 minutes by road from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Group executive Elie Younes described Indonesia as a market of real opportunity. He pointed to strong domestic demand and international appeal.
Radisson's plans in the country
The group currently runs three hotels in Indonesia, with four more in development, mostly in Jakarta and Bali. It also plans to build Radisson Nusantara in the new capital.
Radisson Hotel Group aims to add 20 hotels nationwide by 2030. These are stated plans and timelines can shift.
Context for Ubud
Atiara will be one of several new branded resorts in the area. With 52 rooms, it is closer to a boutique resort than a large hotel. Properties like this compete directly with private villas because they offer privacy and service in one place.
The opening is still more than a year away. Its effect on rentals in the area will be easier to judge closer to launch.
