KBLI (business activity codes)

KBLI (Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia) is the set of five-digit codes that describe any economic activity. A code is declared when registering an NIB and requesting a KKPR, and it determines which licences apply and what the tax office looks at.

Codes a villa buyer meets. 55193 is a villa (pondok wisata), short-stay tourist accommodation. 55110 is a star-rated hotel. 68111 covers real estate activities (buying, selling, letting own property). 41011 is residential building construction (for the contractor).

Two 2026 facts. (1) From the third week of May OSS no longer registers new PT PMAs in Bali under 18 codes, including 68111 and the accommodation codes. (2) A KKPR under commercial code 55193 in residential zone R3 is issued, and DOMA confirmed it on Ubud plots. So ask not for the zone colour but for the KBLI code confirmed in the KKPR.
